Just wanted to give an update and get the ball rolling again on this project.
Bottom Line(s):
- Looking for volunteers to determine scope/goals of project, and do literature review- please email if you want to help out by 12/31 and I will try and get conference call set up for early January. We talked about including Informatics fellow, which I think is an excellent idea.
- Looking for comments on proposal- despite details provided, I consider this “early draft” and expect discussion/comments to lead to many changes. I am especially interested in overall goal; just simple bibliography, vs collection of articles, vs summary paper to try and publish. More information than you all need, but mainly looking for feedback on item #1 (Summary).
After quickly reviewing Sheila’s excellent review article “A review of Primary Care Informatics: past progress, present reality, future prospects”, not sure how much more this effort will add, but probably worth at least starting the project.
Happy Holidays!!
