At the PCIWG Executive Committee meeting of 09 September 2004, it was proposed that a subgroup—Michael Weiner, Sheila Teasdale, Andy Steele, and David Kendrick—be convened to work on the Web site, e-mail list, target audiences, and key messages, including the following.
- AMIA in the news: notify Mary Ellen about papers, editorial board memberships, other success stories, etc.
- Orchestration of new web tools, soon available from AMIA
- Bibliography of members’ publications and links
- Awards in primary-care informatics
- Presentations from other meetings
- Links to work related to primary-care informatics
- Resource directory of opportunities
- Webinars, educational phone conferences (Nikki Shaw)
- Jeff Suzewits and Andy Steele could complete the bibliography started for the consensus conference.
